I have to get this off of my chest! I spent way too much money today!!!!!!!!!!!

When ever I by a gun I have to do it to the extreme. I try to build it piece by piece but nope I can never do it I cave way to easy!!

It is kind of like I see somthing and I have to have it. Are any of you guys the same?????

So this is what I picked up today.

Springfield M1A Scout
JAE-100 Stock
Leupold 3.5x10 M4 mildot scope
Harris Bipod
KMC Pod Loc
Badger 30mm rings

And I am sure I am missing something but whatever, you all know what I am talking about..

Sorry I just needed some reinsurance that I am not completely retarded....:)

Sounds like a sweet set up, :D Except for your choice of glass. Some of the operators over in the sandbox don't trust Leupold and are going with this one The operator's choice (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=272810)

You guys are like the anti-christ of Alcoholic Anonymous
The support group here attempts to get everyone to spend as much money as possible so we could justify all the money we dump into our toys!
Now, back to looking for a 1911.... :D

Did he really say that soliders in the middle east are turning to a $50 BSA scope?

Hey, it works on my Ruger 10/22. Of course I wouldn't trust it on anything stronger than a rimfire...

...probably not even my Gamo air rifle...

Maybe he is talking about the operators on the other side.. you know, the bad guys. That would be the ones not in US uniforms and not using good optics or good old American made death distributing hardware.

Are you missing the scope mount?

Nice setup but you might find the JAE stock a bit heavy. It also has a long length of pull even if you take all of the spacers out. I figured out a trick to get it a bit shorter if you need to.

So true Let me tell you!!!! My parents were always against me owning guns, even bb guns. Finally I just said screw it I am overit, and bought way to many. Now my parents are ok with guns but they think I am a little bit over the edge.

Hey, I might be, but I sure do have a nice little collection if I may say so.:D

Hey, if your stationed there and the army can't get you a $5,000 dollar sniper scope. You buy what you can and make do.

I've heard of soldiers there begging for good quality optics and people over here who are sending over care packets comprised of scopes, bore snakes, etc. I've heard of some soldiers using cheapie Leapers 6x scopes and such. Army pay isn't the highest you know.

Remember, it the man that is pulling the trigger that is the weapon, not the gun itself.

Actually I'm getting mine all the way in Fresno. I purchased it at Fresno Firearms, they also have a M1A standard with a wood stock if you're interested. There's also a guy in Marysville that has a bunch for sale on Gun Broker.

check this place out if you don't mind having it shipped from out of state. they consistently have competitive pricing on all firearms.

Yeah, but what happens when your cross hairs are crooked and the rifle shifts POI everytime you pull the trigger, not to mention the glass shards that fly into your eye everytime you shoot. The man can only do so much. :D

Well I hope you all like her as much as I do, it has been a long wait but worth every minute. I am going to take it out this week end to ASR to see how she shoots. I will keep you all posted on that as well.
