Finally convinced myself to buy the PU sniper rifles from Samco before they ran out. When I got the rifle I felt like the dad from "Christmas story" receiving the leg lamp. When I opened up the box there she was! The major award!!! The stock is rough but it's so cool because it reeks of character. One week went by and I married it with an original PU scope set up I had laying around. Took it to the range today and results were WAY better than I expected (my first 5 rounds sub-moa). I used Winchester SP. All three targets were used to zero in the rifle (from left to right). The bottom target was the last target I shot at today.
P.S. I do not remember how to upload pictures so I had to use Photobucket.

I wish I had an original PU scope set up laying around. :33:

Nice group was that off of sand bags?

Your accuracy is similar to mine.
Here is a picture of my results at 100 yards with open sights.
Looks like this accuracy is typical for a Mosin? Not sure, but seems like it.

I made 2-shots, adjusted aim, 2-shots, adjusted aim, final shot.
The two holes at 12 o'clock are from a different rifle that was shooting high.

I have a Mosin with PU on my list to buy.
