After a month recess, the CA legislature is back in session.

AB 352 is on the Senate floor, no action was taken on it today.

The Senate will come back on the floor later this week.

Ab 2714 is in the Senate Appropriations Committee which meets today, but I have not heard anything yet.

NRA was against it as a DEALER INSPECTION bill, but after it was gutted & amended into an AW bill, NRA has been watching it closely, no stated position. Basically, they are not asking members to support or oppose the bill at this time.

UPDATE: SB 59 was amended today in the Assembly. No details on the amendments or whether the bill has passed the body are available yet.
