I have an old Colt Police Positive .32 from the WW1 era my Grandfather gave me years ago, and I would like to be able to shoot it occasionally.

It is in decent shape, but the cylinder is a little sloppy, and I need to have the timing checked.

Any suggestions for a gunsmith?

Thanks,

I'd say Tabors in San Bruno, give Frank a call

Many of the Colt DA revolvers lock-up when the trigger is pulled. Cycle the action and hold the trigger to the rear, the cylinder should be tight. I'm not sure if this holds true with your model of Colt. This does not account for cylinder to barrel alignment though.

I'll echo that - Frank definitely knows his stuff.
