Just got the new Cabelas Shooting catalog.

Ammo orders to CA have to be received by 1/21...no orders will be delivered after 2/1.

So, "right people" - we have to wait until we have "harm" (as in having a major source of ammo cutoff) and then the lawsuits can proceed?

I keep forgetting to put my order in. Better do it before 25,000 CalGuns members see this and do the same LOL.

Are they going to stop sending all ammo? Or can I tell them the .357 and 45LC are from my lever actions?

I would assume they'll ban all ammo sales, to be safe, as many others have already said they will do (or already have done).

Nice to see someone else from the Eureka area on here.

Boo, J and G sales is saying the same vague thing.

Well atleast we are close enough to the border to scamper over and get ammo.

Good to see you too...maybe well get enough gun nuts out of the wood works up here I can go back to looking at the for sale section! I'm a refugee from Vallejo.

mine says "Attention California Residents: This is your last chance to buy handgun ammunition through our catalog and our website. Act now- orders must be placed by 1/21/11, at 9pm cst. see inside for details."

sounds like they'll continue to sell rifle ammo.

What trully sucks is that 762x39 and 223 are added tot he ban :( I picked the local wally yesterday for some 9mm and 45 ammo :D.

Like the poster above said, the border is about 80 miles away which is not THAT far. I will lurk around Carson City once in 6-9 months. :shuriken:

A bill last session tried to add those, but failed. We still have no 'official' information on exactly what is included.

Librarian is correct, AB 2358 that would have listed some rifle calibers FAILED back in Sept. along with AB1934 and AB1810.

Now with the new batch in Sacramento we need to watch for any repeat performances for the above ............. the next four years are going to be interesting . Time for another donation to calguns :D
