Hello everyone at Calguns.net. I am in urgent need of some help trying to find out what a Ruger pistol is worth that I just acquired. I can not find any information on this gun via the internet or anyone/anywhere else. Here are the specs for the gun.

Ruger Black Hawk
45 Long Colt
Mag-na-port Commemorative Collectible
1982 Black Hawk War Commemorative Ruger Black Hawk
Certificate of Authenticity States it is #090 of only 150 produced
Ruger Serial# 46-74747
Certificate is signed by;
Larry Kilg for Mag-na-Port
GH Mellinger for Badger Shooters Supply
T Swenson for Thomas J Swenson LTD

Pistol is in a solid walnut velvet lined display case with an arrowhead encased in a epoxy resin clear block. There is a medallion on the outside of the display case and on the grips of the gun stating Sesquicentennial 150th anniversary, Black Hawk War 1832-1882. The pistol is black and stainless finish. Looks to be a 7.5" barrel. Pistol action is banded with a mag-na-port zip tie through the hammer and around the grips. Pistol is new unfired.

I would really appreciate some help on this one. Like I said I can not find any history for this pistol on the internet. I might be interested in selling this pistol after I find out the honest value.

Thanks For Any Help You All Can Give Me.

Try rugerforum.com and ask. There are many collectors there who specialize in this kind of thing. Best of luck.

Look through auctionarms gunbroker and similar *auction websites* for COMPLETED auctions, where the guns actually sold.

Did you buy it from Gunslingers? We sold a similar pistol around a year ago.... Can't remember the price though.

No I obtained it through an estate auction. The gun was produced in 1982. Only 150 were made.
