anyone have this case? just looking for a cheap carry case for the G17 and a few mags to take to the range for short trips.

my main question is,is it lockable? does it have a "D" ring and a big enough loop to pass a lock through so as to use this as your "locked container"?

thanks, i read the reviews and there were only 2 from cali, i was almost positive they would have said lockable or not, but they didn't..

thanks again.

nevermind, i called midway, they said it only has a single zipper and nothing to pass a lock through. kinda funny i said to the gal, maybe you could through an idea at your r and d people and tell them, hey if we just add a little tiny loop at the end of the zipper we might sell a lot more of these, i.e. california folks, she kinda laughed at me and said, is there anything else i can help you with... i said, do you have anything similar to what i need........pause, nope was the reply and end call.

I like this canvas tool bag. I lock mine by putting the hasp of the lock through the zipper pull and the loop at the end of the zipper.

These were on sale before Christmas for $7.99. If the OD ones go on sale for that I'll get one for general gear. I only use hard sided cases to tranport pistols though.

I just put a couple of small rings (like they use on key chains) through the zipper pulls and put a lock through those. I usually put my cases in the trunk, so I never use the lock.

Doesn't look like a gun case at all. Cost $25
