I made up some fun targets to take my daughters shooting -- they enjoyed them so I thought some of you Calgun parents might as well.

download them for your printer: http://code17.com/kids_targets.pdf

Those are great! The middle one looks like a germ. Shoot the germ!

The one on the right has cute happy eyes! I couldn't kill that adorable jellyfish. The left one looks pretty innocuous. But yeah, that middle one...shoot the germ! Die, streptococcus!

The "germ" looks more like a bean with a bad case of gas to me.

Strepp is supposed to be a round shape, and they're in clusters usually because they're a cocci (like staph).

I knew it was the wrong shape for a coccus, but it was the first dangerous bacterium I could think of. On reflection I suppose it could be a bacillus with a bad back. Maybe anthrax.

Those are cool. Thanks for posting. I'll print some out for my 5 year old to shoot.

You probably already know this, but potatoes, onions, and cans of shaving cream make excellent reactive targets for kids (and adults) to shoot.

Obviously, you wouldn't want to bring these to an indoor range, but the gun club I shoot at allows them and kids LOVE reactive targets.

Heck, even clay pigeons are great fun for them as they can see them break.

My son's favorite target are coffee containers, filled with water, frozen overnight - even with a .22 they provide a nicely visible ice fountain for every hit until the ice runs out
