I hope someone can give me some advice on how I can fix this problem. It happens when I pull the bolt back. The bolt sleeve turns like the lock isn't holding it in place anymore. I have to turn the bolt sleeve manually to the right to get the bolt back in. Thanks in advance.

The more I look at it I keep thinking the problem is in the lock sleeve. I don't think it is a good fit or it it worn as someone else mentioned.

Looks like a problem with the bolt sleeve lock. Have you tried pulling the bolt apart and checking the sleeve lock? In the photo it looks like it isn't resetting to it's normal position.

The bolt handle is an addition. There might not be correct clearance cuts for the sleeve.

First thing I would do is get a new bolt sleeve lock and bolt sleeve lock spring and install.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll check online. I might just wait for the gunshow that is coming in a couple of weeks. Thanks.

I have a bunch of NOS 1903-A3 parts. PM me with your list.

Interesting. I think my S-C 03a3 has the same problem. If I fire it, everything works fine. But if I close the bolt and then re-open it, the bolt rotates and I can't close it again until I pull everything back and reset.

Great info. Its more of a wall hanger than a shooter so I never messed with it much but this has me motivated again...

Care to post a picture? I might have a S-C bolt sleeve.
