Will we hear about Parker v. California (http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/Parker_v._California) or Nordyke v. King (http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/Nordyke_v._King) first...

I have just about given up on Palmer v. District of Columbia (http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/Palmer_v._District_of_Columbia), that judge may retire before he rules.

Did I miss anything that we could realistically expect something to happen within the next 60 days?

I think we're also closing in on Bateman (http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/Bateman_v._Perdue) and a remand in Dearth (http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/Dearth_v._Holder).

What about Jackson v. San Francisco (http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/Jackson_v._San_Francisco)? Can we expect any significant movement?

This is going to be an exciting year for sure.

I am looking forward to the MULLER v. MAENZA (http://www.archive.org/download/gov.uscourts.njd.249720/gov.uscourts.njd.249720.docket.html) New Jersey right-to-carry case. Plaintiffs have filed a MSJ on December 20th. It has an accelerated scheduling order (http://www.archive.org/download/gov.uscourts.njd.249720/gov.uscourts.njd.249720.11.0.pdf) because there is no trial, as there are no facts in dispute. I surmise that a decision could be had in 6 months.

Status: Stay lifted and consolidation with Gorski avoided. The City's responsive pleading is due January 28th (they will be filing a 12(b)(6) motion ). Plaintiffs' MSJ will follow.

Elsewhere: Separate challenges by the NRA/CRPAF to large-caliber ammo, large caliber firearms, and ultra-compact handgun bans coming soon.

Don't worry - I was not putting them in a particular order.

What happened with Oakland trying to institute AB962 early? I remember seeing the video of the city gov't and all the calgunners speaking out against it, but i think they still voted to start the law right then vs waiting until Feb. Was there anything filed against Oakland to stop that???

These are going to be fun and I look forward to seeing them filed!
