I have a 38 special snub nose 1-7/8 pistol I'm thinking about getting rid of.
serial numberABE36XX
It's a CCPOA Silver Anniversary 1957-1982.
Looks to be in new unfired condition
In original box with instructions warrenty card and cleaning kit.
Is it legal to sell this in California, and whats it worth?
Thanks
Kevin

It is legal to sell since it's already here.

BTW, round butt or square? Any pics? I'm a huge Smith fan....:)

This should help with the value...

Yes CCPOA
It's the Cal Corrections
The picture doesn't look great, and I'm not a pro, but I would say 95% or better.
I don't think it's ever been in a holster or fired?
thanks CBAH
maybe I'll post over there also...

There are scads and scads of those old steel and walnut dinosaurs.

They are painfully ugly and virtually worthless.

But as a huge favor to a fellow CalGunner, I'll buy that one off you--low dollar.

Send contact info via this site's PM.

Still trying to see what it's worth.
I guess I could list it on Gunbroker?
But I'd like to at least know what to set the reserve at or where to start?
Thanks
