As a word. DROS, sounds like gross. Not like ross or cross.

Gross income, DROS income. I'm a poet and I didn't even know it.

DROS(s), as every bullet caster knows, is the useless material that is skimmed off the top of the pot :-)

I've heard two pronunciations:

1. Sounds like "Ross" or "toss."

2. Sounds like "gross."

There is really no winner in that battle though I think I hear #2 a bit more often.

As far as I am concerned it's pronounced like gross.

Since we are asking odd questions, how do you say WASR and Casar?

I guess I'm the only one that thinks and says "Dee Rows".

I guess I'm the only one that thinks and says "Dee Rows".

Nope, maybe it is my youth and memory of the Deez nutz jokes but I pronounce it D-Rose.

I've heard the people at the DOJ itself call it "dros" like gross, and that's how I've always pronounced it.

Since it is gross, I guess it should be pronounced like it.
