View Full Version : Really Old S&W .22 Cal Revolver

My buddies dad has his grandmothers old S&W 22 and we curious as to how old it was and if it was worth repairing. The SN is 12209 or 12200 it was hard to read. Thanks for the help. I posted this on the wrong forum so here is the link to the pics.

Looks like a turn of the century I frame, I have one in 38 S&W. They were the for runners of the J model frames. Mine is a model number 33 as I remember but your model number would probably be different. They are only worth big money if they are near perfect but most parts are available and it would be mostly labor to get going. Keep it as a family heirloom.

Without seeing it in person, it does appear to be a LadySmith 22 Hand Ejector 2nd model. The serial # dates production of 9374 guns between 1906-1910. The guns did come with pearl or ivory stocks. Some better pics would help out.
