On my SP 01 when I shoot in SA there is the no resistant creep, then a gritty heavy bit for maybe no more than an 1/16th of an inch and then the hammer drops. Anyone got a guy who can fix this up for me? I want to get rid of that heavy grit at the end of the pull.

Do it yourself guides work to. I'm good with my hands.

**BTW I already have a 15lb mainspring.

If you install a competition hammer from czcustom that will get rid of the gritty feel. I put one in my 75sa and the trigger is as smooth as a nice 1911. I'm not exactly sure about on your gun but on the 75sa after the hammer is installed I had to carefully remove material off of the leg of the sear so the safety would work. Ask over at the cz forum in the gunsmithiing section on putting the hammer in your gun. Mark

Let CZ Custom Shop install the competition hammer and do the trigger job.

This will make your trigger sublime!

Interesting he'll send your receiver back using US Postal 3 Day priority mail.
It was my understanding all firearms has to be shipped Overnight UPS?

FFL 01's can use the mail. It can be cheaper for civilians to use a FFL to ship for them instead of the overnight UPS and Fedex services.
