Hey guys my buddy is a colt collector and knows i love 1911's as well. We talked over the weekend at a family gathering and told me that he would be willing to make a even trade on one of his colt 1911's 9mm series 70 Government Models for my older model beretta 92S 9mm and Ruger mini 14 series 180. i would like to know if you guys think this a good deal. in my opinion these colts are rare i have only seen about two or three in my life.
thanks your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a very good deal, as long as that Colt is in original condition.

Do it... the only hesitation I may have is if I had legal high cap mags.

Do it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it's in decent shape and functional, it should be a really sweet shooter. They're pretty rare, and getting more so all the time.

This is from Mr. Beretta.

If the Colt is in excellent / mint condition with factory mags, box, papers, etc. DO IT !!!

No other advice is needed. :)
