I was just wondering if anybody know if colt will be making a 100th anniversary 1911? And I'm not talking about the one of a kind 1911 that going for over 55,000 right now. I'm thinking about buying a colt if they making something special for there 100th anniversary.

I cannot justify buying a $2,000+ gun and never shooting it. It would be nice to have but I like to shot my gun, not keep them in the safe. for $2k ill go out n get myself a springfield pro and have plenty of fun with it. :D

The standard model MSRP is $1150. I'm told they won't be shipping to The People's Republik, tho. The weapon is far too dangerous for us to use.
