Merry Christmas all,

I was planning on purchasing a Sig X5 9mm early next year, but after looking at the roster again, it expires 1/5/11! When a gun gets renewed does it go up on the roster well in advance of its expiration or day on or after expiration? With a date so close on the roster it just looks like a possibility it wont be renewed. Or I could be wrong.

First, I don't know. I would expect that the manufacturer would pay the renewal fee somewhat in advance to avoid the gun falling off the list.

I would contact Sig to see if they even attempted to renew.
If you knew of a dealer that has one at a price you could afford, I'd jump on it now rather than risk it falling off the roster.

I agree. Get it now. If it falls off you could still get one; it would just be a little harder.
