Would this magazine be good for concealed carry? :D It's a huge .45ACP magazine that belongs to a friend of mine who has all kinds of interesting stuff. (Amongst other things, he has a semi-auto M60! :43: )

Has anyone seen a 1911 this big before? Crazy!

It looks like a built in monopod so you don't have to hold it up yourself.

Lol I saw a few of those at the Reno gun show I almost thought they were more of a novelty almost like the pistol bayonet

It might be worth modifying that down to ten rounds just to see the look on people's faces when you whip it out at the range.

The big question is does it feed? I had a 20 rounder that wouldn't feed. That's alot of ammo for that spring to push up. Mark

I have an 20 round single stack magazine here somewhere but it never fed correctly and it had a tendency to jump the latch when inserting it, jamming the magazine in the gun.

A lot of people weld tabs to the back of the magazine to prevent it from inserting so far.
