I am in AZ for the holidays and am an AZ resident(military). I am tempted to buy a new handgun, possibly a XDM 45. Do I need to worry about the handgun roster to bring the gun back? Obviously I can't bring back hi cap mags.
Thanks

I believe as Active Military you are also exempt from the Hi-Cap Mag rule. Might want to double check that though. Have fun shopping and thank you for your service. :79:

Non roster guns can only be sold PPT, as far as I know.. Not sure about LEO rules, though. Isn't it illegal to buy a gun just to turn around and sell it right away? Or am I confusing that with something else? Either way, I don't exactly have the money to buy a bunch of guns so I can sell them later:)

I'm an AZ resident, but am on Military orders in CA so I am pretty much a CA resident when it comes to buying and selling in CA.

No.

He can sell on-Roster handguns at a CA FFL, but it would be an interstate transfer.

CA PPT, with the $35 fee limit and exemption from the Roster, is implemented to include only CA residents (CA ID) and military with PCS orders to CA.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

But seriously, how? THe place with that sells them as a single shot? I just paid like 650 for mine, minus a 5% military discount. So about $680 OTD. I wanted all black, but had to settle for the stainless one:)
