So I finished my JD Machine build recently and am now hoping to get advice as to what .308win. ammo to stay away from.
Barrel is an Accurate system 21" stainless bull barrel chambered in .308 win. (.926 dia.) Bolt carrier is DPMS as well as the trigger group.
I will test different brands to find out what is most accurate and reliable. I will buy what I can afford but the GOOD stuff is pretty pricey.
I would like to find a good brand that I can buy in bulk, you know for them rainy days (and zombies)
I used the PRVI 5.56 and liked it but it did seem a little under powered.
The PMC stuff seemed over powered. Can I expect the same with these two brands when it comes to the .308 round?
Please help with what works in your DPMS platform .308
Please keep in mind that I am wanting a decent bulk round that has fairly decent accuracy.
Thanks for any help.

Some folks on the M-14 forum like the Federal American Eagle .308. I bought a case of it, but haven't had a chance to shoot any yet. Palmetto sells it at a good price:
