I was reading the January 2011 Guns & Ammo and had a couple questions about some terms in the FNX-40 article.

First of all, I am not too sure what is meant when the author says "TDA." I assume its something double action??

I also do not know what a "striker fired pistol" is?

And single action means that the pistol needs to be cocked before each shot right? And double action means you can continuously pull the trigger once the first round in chambered??

Forgive me if some of these questions are lame. I am still learning all the terminology and just about guns in general. I figured this is the place to ask. thanks ahead of time.
