Don't know if this is the right forum. I found a Springfield Model 120 in storage that I haven't shot in 30 years. What kind of ammo should I use in this? Does anyone have any info/history on these? thanks

They were made by the Savage/Stevens company. They are single shots and can fire .22 Long Rifle, .22 Long, and .22 Short. It's cheaper and easier to find .22 Long Rifle ammo.

Walmart has a great price on Federal 550 round bulk packs of .22LR ammo. If you are going for best accuracy then you need to try many different brands/styles of .22LR in your rifle. But Federal 550 round bulk packs from Walmart can't be beat for general plinking.
