Anyone have experience with this brand? How does it compare to PMC Bronze or Winchester?

RWS is the same ammo sold through Walmart a while ago in 9mm caliber. It's the black and orange box. Swiss made and Swiss quality. Significantly better than PMC and WWB stuff.

Swiss made and Swiss quality. This particular ammo is made in Hungary.

Rheinisch-Westfälischer Sprengstoff (RWS) was founded in Germany in 1886. RWS merged with Dynamit Nobel (Alfred Nobel's company) in 1931 and Gustav Genschow & Co. AG (Geco) was taken over by Dynamit Nobel of Germany in 1963. Then Dynamit Nobel was taken over by RUAG Holding in 2002.

RWS, Rottweil, GECO, and Norma are all brands owned by Swiss conglomerate RUAG. RUAG is a Swiss defense technology company, with its headquarters in Bern. It has production sites in Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, and Austria with 7,500 employees. Its sole shareholder is the Swiss Confederation.

Ruag manufacturers the 5,6mm Gw Pat 90 or GP 90 (5.6mm Rifle Cartridge 90), which is the standard round used by the Swiss military in its rifle, the SIG SG 550. The Swiss refer to the round as the 5,6mm Gw Pat 90, although it is interchangeable with the 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington round. The Gw Pat 90 is optimized for use in 5.56 mm NATO (.223 REM) caliber barrels with a 254 mm (1:10) twist rate.

Not saying its great stuff because I sell it, I'm saying its great stuff because we did our research. Also, if you reload or may consider starting, this is some of the finest brass money can buy. :-)

WW.com what's your turn around time on orders being shipped? I ask because I placed and paid for an order 5 days ago and have not received a tracking number.

If you placed your order 5 days ago then that was last Thursday and it shipped either yesterday or today. We are slammed and behind in updating the website with tracking numbers. We usually ship orders within 2 business days of being placed. Better than 75% of the time those orders go out next day not counting weekends. UPS wants 7 days to deliver to Cali.

Right now I have a whole list of orders that were shipped Im waiting on tracking numbers for. The big push is to get orders off our dock as fast as possible for you guys so thats what they are concentrating on. I know its annoying to not see a tracking number but we are working on it. The UPS computer is a separate terminal from our order system so everything from UPS must be re-entered manually.

I would be glad to look up your specific order if you send me an e-mail with your order number.

Thanks for your patience,
Russ

Re: Shipping.

Ok, a customer just brought this to my attention. If you are ordering cases of ammo then each case will show the flat rate ship charge of $9.99 which is correct. But if you try and add some additional items on top of that order such as a couple boxes of buckshot. Then the system should give you a choice of flat rate or regular UPS. Obviously on cases of ammo you want flat rate. But if your just ordering some smaller items then the UPS Ground charge would be cheaper. Just be sure and choose the cheaper shipping option for your order and if you run into a problem at anytime PLEASE call or email me so I can help you. I cant fix something if I dont know its a problem. :-)

Thanks, Russ
