View Full Version : Crossfire MK1 - any experiences?

Any of you have experience using the Crossfire MK1 combo shotgun/rifle? Is it reliable or reasonably accurate? It looks like it would make a good patrol/trunk gun. Sort of like a Remington 7615 + 870 hybrid.

I own 2 Mk1's and they work just fine. Purchased 1 from a calguns member about 6 months back. I was at first a bit concerned, because itís basically a prototype firearm, but the 1 Iíve fired has performed flawlessly. Itís a bit heavy, and the cycle is a bit long, due to the 2 actions stacked up next to each other, but itís worked fine for me. One thing thatís a bit confusing at first is that there is a hinge that locks the slide into battery, that must be release manually before you begin firing. Once you begin, each shot released the action automatically. Here are some pics of mine:
