I got my additional antelope doe tags(2)in the mail on monday, going to check now on my buck tag. Not sure why they came so early, when the results had not been posted yet.

Good luck,
Which part of the season are you going to hunt? Are you going to use the 375?

LOL, we'll be there opening morning. I'm going to videotape my brother and a friend of mine who are both on their first antelope hunt. I'll be taking the left overs from them or hunting the one's outside of their confidence envelope.

I'd love to use my 375 H&H but since I'll be hunting after all the goats have been chased for 3-4 days I'm going to take something with a little longer range. I'm bringing my 6.5x284 for some 800-1000 yard prairie dog shooting so I'm going to work on an antelope load for it with the 100 grain Nosler BT at 3,300-3400 fps. With a 300 yard zero it will only put me 8.5-9 inches low at 400 yards.

Yeah, right now I,m screwed. Have 1 buck and and 2 doe/fawn tags and can not got until the last week of the season, looks like I'll also be pulling out the meat mashers(Hornady A-max). Hunting partners going early for Deer so I have to make the trip solo.
Do you ever hunt CA. D-7? I was up at Edison lake this last week. It was the first time I had been there, and looked VERY promising, lots of animals there and around Florence lake.

Nope, D-7 gets hammered pretty hard during the deer season from a lot of people out of Fresno.
