View Full Version : 7.65 Brevettato?

I've seen a 1930's-1940's Beretta pistol marked as using 7.65mm Brevettato... Is that .32 ACP? Kind of confusing...

Yeah, it's .32 ACP.
Brevettato seems to have a few meanings including "Patented" and "Guaranteed". That's what Google tells me, anyway.

Thanks! I like those old Berettas quite a bit...but not enough to get one that uses some obscure caliber no longer produced. I have an older .22 pocket pistol, and now I'm thinking I'll try to collect a .25, .32, .380, and 9mm P if I can manage to find them all. They seem to come up pretty regularly for sale.
