Does anyone have a number other then (916) 263-4887?

I would like to ask them if it's ok for me to cut a hole in my Fab10 mag well so I can install a 10mm magazine.

Asking for DOJ info on OLL stuff these days is near-useless. You're likely to get 'no' for no reason, or for the wrong reason, or get a 'yes' for the wrong reason.

A FAB10 lower is not listed on the Kasler list. A FAB10 lower can legally have an open magwell as long as other features not attached (i.e, gripless w/SRB, and a regular stock).

You could - after FIRST removing the pistol grip, telestock and any upper w/flash hider - then cut an opening for the 10mm mag.

After this is done you could run with a fixed 10rd magazine, OR run gripless w/SRB and regular stock and no flashider or other evil features.

Whats gonna hold the magazine in? Are you going to cut in a mag catch? If I recall correctly, FAB 10's don't have the receiver milled for the catch.

it would have to be a fixed magazine as there is no mag catch built into the FAB10 lower.

I really don't see how cutting a hole in the mag well and riveting the 10 round 10mm magazine just like the .223 mag is going to cause problmes but you never know.
