Hello,

Looking for recommendations on places to buy
bulk milsurp ammo in the San Diego or LA areas
or along the I5 and I15 corridors between SD & LA.

Mainly interested in 7.62x54r, 7.5 Swiss, 8mm.

AIM has great prices, but the shipping costs get pretty high
on bulk orders. I'm thinking it might be cheaper to buy locally,
but if that's not been your experience, let me know as well.

Thanks,
Joe

Other mail order places that are closer than AIM, shipping prices tend to be a little lower

J&G Sales
Outdoor Marksman

Sportsman guide is not to bad due to low shipping costs and discount coupons that can be found.

A lot of people refuse to do anymore business with ammoman because of the incident with the imported SKS I believe.

I would have to say try Ammo Brothers. I stopped by their store about 2 weeks ago and they had ammo for my K31 on hand. Their store looks like it is still in the "unpacking phase" but they are great guys and you can feel good about supporting a small business.

They have some optics and other things, and they can also do long gun transfers so stop in and browse a bit.

For 8mm you can't beat century's deal on 50s yugo, I just ordered up a bunch and it came out to 6c each shipped to CA from the east coast. But you gotta mail in your c&r and wait a few weeks for them to hook you up with a dealer acct.
