Most every Wednesday we shoot Muzzleloading Shotguns at the Livermore Trap Club. I say most because once in a while we shoot at another club and if the weather is bad we don't shoot at all. Here is a link for Livermore Rod and Gun

http://lprg.org/

Livermore is about 45 minutes south east of San Francisco.

If you would like to come out and shoot with us or just see how it's done you should send me an email just to confirm we are going to be there. Email me at heritagecollection@sbcglobal.net.

Come out and see us make some smoke!

Mark-

Thanks for putting the invitation up for everyone here.
I've recently relocated to NV so I won't likely be making it out any time soon - but I do end up in the area from time to time and if I can swing it I'll take you up on the offer some time in the future.

In the meantime, can you put up a quick pictorial/tutorial on handling and loading for the archive?
What powders and lubes do you run?
What do you use for a wad column?
Do you wrap or cup your shot charge?
What kind of shot are you running?
Do any of you guys run flint fowlers?
Show us your guns!

Cheers
Tinker

Someday I'll have to make the trip just to see how my Berretta O/U does. I've owned it for almost two years and have yet to put a cap on it.

Tell me more about these front stuffing shotguns. I don't have one, but it sounds like I may need to buy one.
