I have an sai m1a w a 22 inch barrel. I bought an 18 inch sai barrel off of another member here. I pmed m24armorer over the weekend but haven't heard back from him yet. I was wondering if anyone else had the ability to rebarrel an m1a local to concord or the bay are

I can vouch for Ken's work. He rebarreled and did some other work on my Dad's M1 Garand and we're very happy with it. I've been meaning to do a followup thread but havn't sat myself down to do it... seeing as it's going to be raining this weekend, maybe it's time :D

But yeah, excellent work from Ken. He really knows the ins and outs of these rifles too. I learned a ton just talking to him on the phone.

Second on Kendog, good guy, tell him what you want and he will do as you ask, I know this from my experience working with him.!!!!!!!!

There are a few local gunsmiths in the concord area that can do it for you but, it will very likely cost you some $$ Maybe Diablo Valley Gun Service.. you may need to have the chambered reamed to headspace it, if it's not a chrome line barrel.. and if it is a (new) short chambered barrel...B2B

Kendog rebarreled my m1a and did a great job. Really nice guy super helpfull and deffinitely knows his stuff. I highly recomend him to anyone gettin work on their rifles
