Gents,
I'm very late to the OLL party, having 'left behind" my AR-building days back in 2000.
Believe it or not, having been other-directed with life's happenings, I just came across an OLL reference on another forum.
Anyway, question is, do any SF Peninsula FFL's have Off-List Lowers for sale still? Is it too late to get on the bandwagon?
TIA!

I don't know the shops in SF, but it is definitely not too late to buy an OLL. The onlly shop I know of that stocks them on a daily basis is the San Jose Gun Exchange.

Be sure to read the FAQ at the top of the page so you know how to build your lower legally.
You should also look in the sale forum...

Just find a local FFL that will take your OLL transfer and buy them online, find the cheapest one you can find.
I paid $250 for my locally purchased 1st OLL, $99 for the rest online. You can start the DROS as soon after you have paid for your OLL.

Even though this has been going on for a while, be prepared to be told by some FFL's that it is illegal and anyone that has bought an OLL is going to jail.

being late saved you a bunch of money So true! Mainly on lowers though. Uppers and the other parts have pretty much stayed the same.

While true today......two weeks....don't think the DOJ will let this go on INDEF, there are efforts to shut down the whole thing.
As I've always said buy'em while you can.
Better late than never.........
