saiga legality

I was just checking out the saiga ak-47s. Are they banned by name? I found a list online, but couldn't find the saiga. I was under the impression that they were. If not, they seem like a great way to go here in cali. Open up the magwell and you have a detachable mag, very functional rifle.

I did search.

I did find a list.

The list didn't look right (aka I thought the saiga was listed) so I asked the people here who know more than I do.

Turns out it was the roberti roos list.
