Depends on what you are trying to do with it.

Get an LMT/DD/RG/BCM, maybe a nice optic, a lot of ammo, and a carbine course. You'll be much happier and a better gunslinger.

I thinking if they go head to head on like accuracy, reliability, fit, form, anything who would be better?

If you're looking some sort of top tier super squirrel carbine, look no further than the HK416.
Here's what the upper goes for. http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-416-10-4-Upper-14p962.htm
You said money was no object. :p

I would go with the HK417, go big or go home!

OR how about FN vs. HK
SCAR vs. G36K

G36K. I've seen one before at burro canyon and my gosh was it sexxy. If you want something that stands out and different go with the G36

I have 11 AR's and 1 SCAR. I would choose the SCAR.

Personally, I would choose the FN SCAR for several reasons...

First: ANYTHING that FN makes nowadays is just plain amazing. They are beautifully made, very comfortable, and reliable firearms. I am a big fan - I just wish my wallet was full, so I could be an even bigger fan. I am currently saving up to buy a SCAR, myself.

Second: The uniqueness of having a SCAR compared to the millions of AR's that are out there everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I love AR's as much as the next guy, but I admit I get tired of seeing them EVERYWHERE I LOOK.

Third: The FN SCAR won the SOCOM SCAR competition for a reason. It is a GREAT rifle. I know I am kinda repeating my first reason, but the thing is just all around outstanding. Beautiful design, easy barrel length changing, uniqueness... But if I were buying the gun, I would opt for the SCAR-H (SCAR 17, 7.62x51)

not exactly a civilian option. You could do a conversion on a SL8, but its SUPER big bucks to do.

Have to admit my roomates ak47 puts a smile on my face when I rock the gongs at the local range with it. My AR15 makes a little "tink" sound. :(

FN SCAR.
Because you said price is not an option, therefore, unlimited $$$. It is unique in that it is not an AR15. I know LWRC is just as expensive, if not more, but it is still basically a Gas Piston AR15 and there are choices (for GPU AR15) that are just as good for less money like LMT or Addax. Noveske and DD are mainly DI, they are very good, but like you said if price is not an option nor a problem, I'd go for the pricier and unique one.

How much better does the SCAR perform over a real good AR?

Not exactly sure about the performance between the two, but when I bought my scar it was mainly between it and the LWRC M6A2. The scar just felt better, the ergonomics just seemed to fit me so well and I don't regret going with it over the LWRC. Not to say that it is definitively better than a top of the line AR, it's just that the scar seemed like a better choice for me and my application.

If aftermarket parts and upgrades are a concern, obviously an AR style rifle has more available, but due to its growing popularity alot of manufacturers are starting to support the scar platform as well. FN is now offering individual parts, and from what I've heard their customer service is outstanding, so that should be something to consider.

Plus it seriously is one hell of a mean looking rifle imo. :)

Yeah the guy I talked to at Burro who owned it said he put around $4000 for rifle and conversion. Haha OP said money wasn't an option though so my vote goes for the SL8 converted to G36
