Well since you don't know what day it is, then we have some hope that you have no clue to what you speak...

I think the idea was to alarm us all into getting out and voting today. DO IT!

Unfortunately, you are very likely correct. Sad day for us Komiefornians.

I am afraid you are 100% right. It's a darn shame we have such poor Republican candidates to vote for. It's like having had to vote for another looser like McCain rather than the equally looser Dem candidate! Bob.

Don't really care about MW. No matter who's gov in this state they're pretty much screwed, glued and tattoo'd!

Now Fiorina on the other hand, if she loses, shows just how stupid our neighbors and friends are. I keep getting the feeling that this state is beyond hope!

To quote a co-worker:

"This State is un-governable."

I think they will both lose.
We need Kamala Harris to lose, and that race is tight.

That Kamala is in a tight race with Cooley tells me that this State is gone.

Oh, the depths to which we have fallen. Our governor's race is Moonbeam vs. Nutmeg. Unfortunately even if we had a wonderful governor, the PRK's primary issue is the other nutjobs in the state congress...

That Kamala is in a tight race with Cooley tells me that this State is gone. You said it. Out of the candidates running for state office thing will not change in kali. Best hope is to get government balance in DC.

Public Service Announcement:

For all California voters, please refer to your local polling place and the following voting schedule. Since California has a heavy Democrat voter registraton, it has been determined the most efficient process will be to break the voting system into the following days:

Tuesday, Nov 1st, 2010 - Registered Republicans will vote between 8:00AM and 3:00PM

Tuesday Nov 1st, 2010 - Registered Independents will vote between 8:00AM and 3:00PM

Wednesday, Nov 2nd, 2010 - Registered Democrats will vote between 8:00AM and 3:00PM

Thanx, DISC :43:

Fiorina and Cooley are FAR more important than the Gov. race...

Damn shame this state is full of broke democrats. It could be a better state or the state it was if we get all these democrats corralled and moved to another country so they really know what what hardship really is.

My predictions for today:

Brown +9
Boxer +6
Cooley +1
Prop 19 fails (54-46)

The elections are actually too close to call.

If Republican/conservative voter turnout is heavier than expected Whitman and Fiorina may very well win.

This thread is not so great. Talk about premature speculation.

One thing to keep in mind about polls, at least this time. The polls call for, I assume, registered voters or random households. The Mcain/Obama race was polled to be closer than the actual result, probably because the Democratic voters turned out in record high numbers.

There is a lot of voter unrest right now, and it is projected that the Libertarian/Republican voters are energized to show up at the polls. Those polling about interest in voting are stating that the Democratic voters are less enthusiastic for this election.

I think that there is a possibility for some surprises in this election. It isn't so much how many people like/would vote for a candidate as how many actually made the effort to show up AND cast that vote.

My predictions for today:

Brown +9
Boxer +6
Cooley +1
Prop 19 fails (54-46)

My prediction is:

Sharks +2
Giants win the series (ok, I cheated on that one)
The others I won't speculate about. It all depends upon voter turnout.

As a physician, I'd recommend thinking about THIS. It should help.
