what's the term for this kind of stock? to describe it in words
1) vertical enough to kinda feel like a pistol grip but isn't a pistol grip
2) doesn't have a thumb hole

(googling "vertical grip stock" gives me tons of forends/foregrips...)

I don't know if there is a specific term, but the pistol grip style on those shown are similar to that of the Manners and McMillan tactical series of stocks.

i second that, i don't believe there is a direct description of that style. other than macmillan-esque :D
