I just want to thank all of you for telling me what my guns really are, I've taken on a new look. From now on I will ask before I jump.

This site is great for finding out trivia about unusual firearms. I posted a couple pics of an old FN-49 my dad had, and eventually ended up linking him up with someone who wrote a book on them. Getting the history on something that's been in the family for a while is very exciting.

I'm definitely scared of dipping my toes in the hard-core collecting pool though, since it seems like a very detail-oriented hobby I'm frankly too lazy to get into. :o

I'm glad you found your way here. It's been refreshing getting all these new posts in the C&R forum, especially from a collection like yours, and from a guy who wants to learn.

Thanks, I'm going anywhere and I buy as many guns as I can afford, trying to buy another as we speak.
