Is this going to work ok? I tried to email Sabre but it came back as a bad email addy, are they out of business? I heard they had a problem with BATFE.

Can I or do I have to use a carbine buffer?

Should be fine by using a rifle buffer, rifle spring, rifle extention and A1/A2 rifle stock or

Carbine buffer, spring, extention and stock.

Just keep everything "rifle" or "carbine" in all your parts. Do not mix "carbine" or "rifle" parts

I'm running a 16" carbine on an A2 and it's working just fine for me. * shrugs * Not a single problem with ~200 PMC so far.

do you mean don't use a rifle spring with a carbine buffer or vice verse?

Colt used to sell 16" carbine with A2 stock.. nothing wrong with that config. (back in the olden days)

I currently run a 16 midlength with a rifle setup (buffer, spring, extension) and have had 900 rounds of PMC and no failures of any kind.

If I don't run a Vltor stock then I prefer an A1 stock. Even on 16".

Don't know if you're done with it yet, BUT ...:useless:

I have issues! Damn I got to start another thread. But you guys have been great with all of your help. I started with an old Colt Sporter now I have 3 AR's one built on the Sporter lower and two on OLL's. I must have spent four grand so far and I still need a gas piston set up and at least a 7.62X39 upper. If I never found this site none of this would have happened.

Thanks
