I'm gonna be buying an Eotech XPS-2-0 within the next few days and I was wondering what are some good risers for it to get a 1/3 co witness? Also where are some good places to get it from?

Only 2 choices. LaRue LT-110 (~$110), if you want quick disconnect or the YHM EOTech riser (~$30) if you don't.
Or just get the EXPS model.

LaRue and you'll never look back or regret It. Love my 512 riser with quick detatch, wouldn't trade it for any other mount on the market

My American Defense Eotech Riser works great. Quick detach, returns to zero and its rock solid...

That is a good deal, I actually sent that link to a friend a few days ago. I'm sure you'll love it! Just hope you know that is not a riser and just a qd mount.

We have the XPS2-0 on our group buy for a hell of a lot less than $485. No one can touch our prices on EOTech. Factory fresh 100% genuine product drop shipped from EOTech to you. There's a $50 factory rebate on top of our low unadvertised price.

Does the new EXPS need a riser?

^ no, the EXPS does not need a riser since one is already built in.

Somewhat related question: Could you use the elevated rails on the LaRue LT-110 (meant for mounting 'a PVS-14 in perfect co-witness') to mount a LT649-30S (short)?

I see there are only 2 rail spaces on the raised section, which could be an issue.

My problem is the handguards I have on have a bit of wobble and I can't extend the LT110 riser mount over them like in Larue's recommendation. (see bottom example)http://www.laruetactical.com/pics/Charts/LT-649-T_Chart.jpg

No, you can't. You have to use the fixed mount. From their website:

The LT-133 (PVS-14 Mount) and LT-602-1 (fixed Aimpoint 3X Magnifier Mount) attach on the rear of the LT-110 and correctly line-up with the LT-110-mounted 511, 512, 551, 552, XPS 2, XPS 3 and similar models. The LT-649 "Tall" Pivot Mount (with Aimpoint 3X magnifier), mounted on the receiver rail will work on all models, but may interfere with rear sights.
