SO I purchased brand new DD upper from a gentleman yesterday, got it home and it WILL NOT fit on to my lower. The from section slips in just fine, but the rear will not sit flush and i literally have to pound it in with my hand....the take down pin wont go through obviously because there is the most minuscule amount of space there. Any ideas? MY KAC fits and my basic novekse no problem!! soo weird

I had to use a rubber mallet on the front pin to get my BCM upper to fit.

My upper fits really tight at both pins, not to the point of needing tools, but definitely need to muscle it in

Noveske N4 lower, I also have a Mega lower that is in jail, maybe it will fit better in that.

Different mixes of uppers and lowers sometimes have this problem. Is your N4 lower a 2nd? I have a slightly out of spec Stag lower that fits very tight with any upper I put on it. I have to press the two halves together very tightly and tap in the takedown pin with a hammer. It's a super-tight fit and I have to use a delrin punch and hammer to get the pin back out. I just deal with it.

2nd... thats what I figured... oh well, it charges just fine, nothing hangs up and cycles well.. screw it! Thanks for the input dudes!

What Shark said is true. I have a Stag lower and a CMMG upper that fits very very tight. Like Shark, I have squeeze the upper and lower together just to remove the rear take down pin. But after a while it gets easier.

Did you try cocking the hammer bfore attempting to fit the back end of upper and lower together? Sometimes that makes the fit easier.
