TigerSwan 2-Day Tactical Pistol - Oct 29-30, 2011 - Chino, CA.

Cost: $575.00

Location: Chino, CA

Just checking to make sure that the fee for this 2-day course is $575 as stated in the post?! Most of the 2-day classes you have out of Chino are in the $400-$450 range.

Yes Sir, it's $575 due completely to TigerSwan's low student to instructor ratio. For every class over 8-10 (Max) students you are going to get two (or more) top of the line Tier One Special Operations experienced instructors. Who you can take to the bank are absolutely world class shooters, and have taught for many years.

Although it adds to the price no other training company can match TigerSwan when it comes to this point. No one else has a pool of 6-10 instructors with this high of a back ground, shooting ability, and instructor experience at their disposal.

Two Tier-1 instructors from TigerSwan is too irresistible not to partake. I'm in and really looking forward to my first class with TigerSwan.

Also, looking forward to Grey Group Training possibly scheduling the following in Southern California in 2012 since it's currently being offered in other parts of the country:

Dave Harrington 2-Day Combatspeed Handgun
Kyle Defoor 2-Day Advanced Handgun
Mike Pannone 2-Day Advanced Handgun
Pat McNamara 2-Day Handgun T.A.P.S.

I'll get in on all of these as time permits. Especially looking forward to Kyle Defoor's Advanced Handgun after reading up AARs on his class of last week in NC.

Great stuff Chen, Paul and Grey Group. It's fantastic to get all these great instructors in Southern California.

Welcome aboard.

Since we do so much Mil/LE business it's simplier for us to just offer the Mil/LE price to everyone.

Hello lehn, the class is currently a little over half full.

Figure on Brian Searcy or Leon Bracy as the primary, with David
Borresen also instructing.

Nice shooting with you as well. Glad you took my advise and are signing up for some top quality training in SoCal. Any "Advanced" training put on by Grey Group is well worth your time and money. Other SoCal-based training outfits to seriously consider and I've attended frequently: ITTS, TFTT, Falcon Security and U.S. Training.

Sounds good, I'm in advanced handgun at ITTS in two weeks, a TFTT class in September and a US Training Center class in August. Trying to get as much training as possible.

Great. You need to take ITTS Advanced Handgun (AH) (http://internationaltactical.com/handgun_adv.html), TFTT Advanced Pistol Operators Course (APOC) (http://tftt.com/TFTT_LA_Courses_Sept_2011.pdf) and U.S. Training Center's Advanced Skills Handgun (ASH) (http://www.ustraining.com/new/courses/Southwest/adv-skills-handgun.asp) at least once. I'll probably be at all those three classes.

Is the class size maximum 10 students or does the above quote simply indicate a 1:5 instructor/student ratio? If so, what is the max class size?

I'm hoping to sign up for this class, just trying to arrange to get the time off right now.

Also, when will you post the definitive dates for the early 2012 schedule for Socal? Specifically looking at the McNamara and Defoor classes.

Thanks!

TigerSwan does a 8-10 to 1 student to instructor ratio so the max will be around twenty students.

Our 2012 schedule for SoCal & Castro Valley should be out next week. MAC and Kyle are both scheduled for Chino.

I hope this helps. If not, please let me know.

Training with TigerSwan is a unique opportunity, and in my book, the fact that you can train with them here in Southern California is a huge plus.

This class really is a great value for what you are getting and we all owe Dinger, and Grey Group our sincere thanks for making this happen.

Paul,

Are you at 8-10 students already (2 months before class date) and if it goes to 11+ students are we guaranteed 2 Tier One Special Operations experienced instructors?

Thanks.

A good shooting buddy of mine with Boston PD took a TigerSwan 5-day Pistol/Carbine class a few months ago and was absolutely raving about it and he takes many such classes with a melange of outfits across our splendid land. One might hesitate (as I did initially), about the $575 cost versus $350-450 for such 2-day classes. One shouldn't since you'll be saving the cost of travel, food and lodging to NC plus getting top-notch training. Remember, variety is the spice!
