Any laws/regs against shooting at night on BLM land?

County laws would apply. My county restricts shooting from 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset unless hunting.

Yeah Bob, like we figured out last time night shooting came up and you corrected/spanked me for saying that you cant shoot at night...its probably a county issue.

It's covered by the DFG code. 1/2 hour after sunrise to 1/2 hour before sunset are the legally allowed times according to DFG.

If you're on a private range, however, you're at their mercy.

Your DFG shooting times are not correct. When hunting, you need to check the regulations, depending on the species being hunted since the legal shooting times do vary.

BIG GAME- 1/2 hr. before sunrise to 1/2 hr. after sunset.

SMALL GAME- Same as above ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Waterfowl- 1/2 hr. before sunrise to sunset.

SPRING TURKEY- 1/2 hr. before sunrise to 4:00 PM.

PHEASANTS-8:00 AM to sunset.

NON GAME- May be taken at any time. See sec. 474 for restrictions.

You can take Raccoons at night with restrictions.

If you are target shooting and not hunting, as others said, you need to check County ordinances and any restrictions for BLM/ National forest lands.
