I've put this off as long as possible but I can't wait any longer... I am selling one of my absolute favorite rifles: Springfield Armory M1 Garand built in June of 1945 so it is one of the last WWII production rifles. This rifle was rebuilt in 1989 by an experienced Garand gunsmith who rebuilt the action and re-parked the rifle. He also installed one of the prettiest stocks I have ever seen and then glass bedded the action and gave it a complete tune up. It has a National Match Op rod and I just installed a new spring kit from Orion7. The barrel is a 6 groove barrel and it looks brand new. The rifle has only had around 400 rounds since installing the barrel, so it is barely broken in.

I am including some pictures but I didn't want to pull it all apart again for all the numbers and such. It is not a perfectly matching rifle, just like a normal Garand would not be all matching when it was in service. This is probably one of the nicest shooters you will find for sale... it has been gone through and had the worn parts replaced, a brand new 6 groove barrel installed, and then completely refinished so everything matches. Please PM me if you have any questions. My price is now SOLD including a web sling and a full Bandoleer of Greek M2 HXP Ball ammo.

I prefer F2F in nor cal east bay or Sacto, I don't mind driving half way to meet you, up to 50 miles or so. Good Luck.

EDIT: YES it does qualify for cash and carry. If you're legal to own, we can do a F2F transaction. I will provide a bill of sale for Buyer to sign for my records.

This target is from 2 weeks ago at the USI range in Concord. It is 8 rounds of HXP M2 Ball from the bench at 100 yards.

I'm not a great shot so if you have any skillz at all you will do better than this I am sure ;)
