Turners in Signal Hill has a consigned H&K P7M8 for $1000 on their online gun rack 95% condition...but after calling them I found out it was a typo and its actually a P7PSP. They want $1000 plus tax so I was wondering if it's worth the drive. I don't know much about these guns but that the P7 series are suppose to be great guns. I did learn it has a european mag release and something is different about the trigger guard. That's all I know.

Way too high. I'd top out on a perfect NIB model for around $800.

If that was a P7M8 in 98% or NIB condition, I'd pay $1,000.

P7PSP for 1k is stupid imo. P7M8 at 1000.00, you'd be stupid not to...

exactly.... ok I wasn't sure... I knew most P7M8 sell for $1300 AT LEAST.....but they had on their online gun rack as a P7M8 95% for $1000 and I called immediately... The guy was very friendly and got my number... good thing he did because he called me right back and corrected the mistake and told me that it was actually a P7PSP. This Turners is 50-60miles away so thank you Robert at Turners of Signal Hill for being very professional and honest and very quick service...

Ya over priced .... that said... good luck finding one when you want one... meaning a P7PSP... A couple of hundred bucks should be no big deal if you are getting something that is not found for sale very often. There is a value in scarcity...

If we lived in a free state you could get them from TOP GUN SUPPLY for under a grand. At least you could have a while ago they may still have them.

NOPE TOP GUN IS OUT>>> they were $529... or so. Here is the link... http://www.topgunsupply.com/hk-p7-handguns/

If the PSP is in good condition with the box it may be worth it to pay a little extra.

I personally like the PSP better than the P7m8 I sold my HKP7M8 a few years ago... Nice gun today if I had a choice I'd buy one with the heel release. like the PSP over the P7M8...

Get it while you can... now that the word is out SOmeone is going to grab it I bet... I would If I lived in southern CA.

My opinion worth what ya paid for it. YOMV...

I bought a PSP last year from Pro Force in excellent condition for $750ish.

Those prices are great and very reasonable.
I guess it depends on what it's worth to you. Some HK fans that doesn't have one would pay the piper only because it's not on the list.
On the other hand, I think I would pay $1K for a PSP if it's NIB. But going out of your way depends on you.
I shot my buddy's PSP and it is an accurate pistol for its size. I've seem P7M8s go for $1500.00NIB. and P7M13s at an outrageous price tag of $2K.

Can you call Turners and have them talk to owner on a deal?

"Side track question", aren't all PSP German Police trade in?

At $1000 it is still a fair price. There are no more A grade psp around AFAIK. Also, it is a off list gun.

Anyone thinking they can get a nib psp for $800 is dreaming.

The Grade A Police Trade In's go for right at $700, IF you could buy one.

Do you have a link? I'd buy one, or two.

Here (http://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/350601935/m/5040084502/p/42) is one, but he is now sold out of Grade A's.

That is why I asked. All sources appears to be sold out of A grades. I got one of the last ones TGS a while back
