I'm not much of a pistol guy. I just got my first Glock last week though and to my surprise am having a hard time finding a holster that will accommodate a weapon light. I'd like to either run a Surefire or Streamlight with the laser on the bottom. X400 or TLR-2 i believe. I've previously enjoyed Blackhawks holsters in the past but it seems they only fit their own light. What are my options here?

Thanks guys

Check out Raven holster. They are one of the best holster companies out there. Expect to be on the waiting list for a few months.

Safariland has one. I have a G17 with TLR1 and it works great.

I have that Fobus holster, it's garbage. Very fussy and slow to draw from. Avoid.

I just got me a G19, also got a blackhawk xiphos NT light and a level 2 holster that allows for the light from blackhawk. I think its the best set up out there as far as light/holsters. the same system works for a big variety of glocks. so the holster + light from blackhawk will swap in and out with most glocks like a G17.

There is also the Kaluban Cloak. It is sort of a knock off of the Raven Concealment holsters. They are slightly cheaper and supposedly don't have too much of a lead time.

One of the members here got one a couple months back and posting a pretty positive review of it here in the handgun forum.

+1 for Kaluban Cloak and Side Armor. All the brands listed are excellent, but I like these two the best.

I'll tell you something about that BlackHawk setup: IT IS AWESOME. That Xiphos light is really quite revolutionary in how they designed it. I got the "kit" for my G20 and the light "clamps" down nice and snug (it's adjustable) on the rails and it is EXTREMELY bright & has a blinding/disorienting "strobe" mode. The Serpa Level III holster lets you 'snap' the whole thing in with ease & you have that extra retention level that is always good...and very simple to master with about one hour of practice (probably much less, but I overdo stuff like that)...of course you must make a commitment to practice regularly to achieve muscle memory, but it becomes second nature very quickly. Plus, it's fun to draw & shoot if you have a range that is cool about it. Just my .02 from experience.
