2 questions.

can I tape two ten rnd short ak mags end to end? It makes them more compatible with mag pouches. Is that still two ten rnd mags or is it considered a hi-cap mag?

With pump action shotguns, I know the barrel has to be 18 inches and the gun has to be 26 inches total. As long as those specs are met, can I put pistol grips and vertical grips on my gun?

As far as I know pump-action shotguns can have just about any type of stock you want on them so long as you meet those 18" and 26" requirements. Semi-auto shotguns however have more rigid rules. I don't know an answer to your ak mag question. Welcome to the forum. :D

(My word does not = legal advice).

Yes you can tape your AK mags end to end. You would still have to remove the magazine and switch to the other to get the other 10 rounds, so it would not be considered a hi-cap magazine. Just like the 10/22's Tri-Mags, this would be fine.
