I am looking to send off my xdm.40 to springer or powder river and wondered if anyone has experienced both/either on an xd or xdm. I am not looking for a light target trigger-I want to take out the gritty trigger, get a crisp pull and smooth it all up while maintaining a duty weight of about 4 to 4.5.

I found this link on xdtalk demonstrating the Powder River kit.

Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bV4Q2mXzC4

Looks awesome.

I was more interested in the smith work. A couple bucks to ship it is worth it to me. If I understand correctly, the Springer trigger job uses differnt parts than the kit and most of what I have read on PRP is just about the kit.

I don't understand what you mean by "Springer trigger job uses different parts than the kit"? Scott puts together his own kit with his own parts. Besides making the trigger pull shorter, crisper and lighter, shortening the reset is very nice.

found it! I may be misunderstanding this statement? It was in response to someone asking about mixing and matching parts.

"The kit parts we sell are a by product of the parts we needed for the shop use and not the same parts and we do not sell our shop parts. As far as the kits go, just look at the parts and you should be able to quickly tell the differences and the intentions of the designers. " http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=91000
