I'm looking for new WC 47d mags. I can get them from Brownells for $30 a piece. I did do some looking around, but its all pretty much the same. Anyone know where I can save a few extra $$$?

$30 is about as good as it gets, IF you did somehow find someone selling it for cheaper I doubt it'd be more than $2 difference. Try the classifieds, people selling magazines all the time.

I think I saw a couple bucks off at Midway..like $27ish.
Maybe if you also find a coupon for Midway, you'll shave a bit more.

Semi on topic, I know the 47D magazines are the ones to get but are the Wilson service magazines (series 46) any good? They're almost half the price. Just wondering....

Try the classifieds, people selling magazines all the time.

Magazines have a finite lifespan, I wouldn't suggest buying used mags.

Check out Tripp Cobra mags (http://www.trippresearch.com/store/index.html). I've heard great things about them. Those and mags by Checkmate (http://www.checkmatemagazines.com/cart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=2) are very popular on the 1911 forums.
