I stopped by an unnamed shop a few days ago to check out the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm. The store had it for $669 which works to be about $750 out the door. Is this a good deal/normal price? Do any other bay area stores have it for significantly cheaper? I'm not looking to save $10 here or there but if it's like $569 somewhere I'd like to know. MSRP is $719. I could buy it online for $539 but I prefer to buy from local businesses and give them some $$ so they can stay afloat.

Target Master West in Milpitas has one for $592.43 with two mags. Although, I have to warn you. TM DROS procedure will take about 1-1.5 hrs.

$669 is pretty expensive. Turners sell them for a lot cheaper. I know s&w have a package deal for LEO m&p9 with 3 mags and night sights for $539.

That's about $100 more than I paid earlier this year.

Anyone else know of others in the Bay Area, preferably in the San Jose / surrounding city area.

I saw a vendors at the Ontario gun show that was selling a brand new M&P9 for $540.

The cheapest i've seen them go is $520. Shop around. If your going to buy online, add all the fees to the total to see if ti's worth getting it online versus going into a store.

Can't get any LEO discounts for at least 2 more years...probably about 3. Finishing up school now then applying. :cool2:

$699.99 at my local shop here in Orange County. I got mine for $550 + excluding tax and DROS from the same shop that has it listed at $699.99. On-Target does price matching, and I showed them a Turner's ad where they had the M&P9 on sale, and On-Target agreed to beat their sale price by $5. Total was about $635 out the door, and subtract $50 from that for the S&W rebate for final price. This was the price for a brand new gun.

Keep an eye on the weekly sale fliers from Turners, and you can try to find a shop to price match, if you don't go to Turners directly.

589 plus tax and dros at Ralstons in Scotts Valley. He is out of stock at the moment but if you want one go talk to him and he can place an allocation order for you. (When stock is made available it is shipped to the allocated orders first).

How can I check Turners prices? I couldn't find any on their website.

You don't. You just keep an eye on their weekly ad to see if it goes on sale. If you looking to buy while it's not on sale, just give them a call for a price check.

The prices I see around here are close to 600. Reeds said 600 when I asked but I was not waving money at the time. If you want to go east bay J&R has good pricing in Livermore

Target masters in Milpitas has some good pricing. I would just hope you have someone that isnt completely retarded doing your DROS.

You could try Anthony @ UG Imports. He should be able to match or beat any galleryofguns prices. As he's a transfer dealer, you may have to wait an extra day or 2, but if you know it's the gun you want you might shoot him a PM/phone call.

So I decided on City Arms in Pacifica for it's close location to me and the price was good enough, very good IMO for in-store pricing. The guy on the phone wasn't 100% sure but somewhere between $560-$570. Don't quote me on that but that's a good enough deal for me. It was out of stock but they said they'd order it. Very friendly guy on the phone too, good customer service so far like I've heard about them.

They were on sale for that price so I jumped on it. I also got the $50 rebate from S&W so it was even cheaper than the $469. They are out of the 9mm at that price but still have .40SW at that price. I was just in there tonight.

Does anyone know if Smith and Wesson extended the $50 rebate OR 2 free magazine rebate? I know they extended it a handful of times before...I could really go for 2 free mags.

$460 + $30 Shipping + $35 Receiving FFL Fee + $25 DROS = $560 Out the door for me. Oh yeah, then $560 - $50 Rebate = $510 Total Cost.

Check California Derringer in San Mateo. Awesome guy to deal with. He doesnt have an XD9 in stock, but does have am XD 40 for $519. So I'm sure he can get you the 9 for the same or less.

Yes. Grant at G&R Tactical is good to go. If you're looking for a Cali-friendly S&W M&P9, it's pretty hard to beat his price. It's too bad that he doesn't have any Cali-friendly M&P40's though. :(

My god, that is awesome price, is this site legit?

Absolutely. I've bought 2 guns from Grant. In fact, one is sitting at Enterprise waiting for me to start DROS.

G&R is great. They are always responsive to my calls and emails. They also go out of their way to serve CA customers. Grant is also a member here, but I don't recall is call sign.
