This M24 is the standard barrel m/24

Civil Guard logo on the barrel and no step in the barrel contour.

The barrel is made to the original m/91 specifications. This rifle
is relatively uncommon.

The Swiss made barrels are marked “Schweize Industrie-Gesellschaft Neuhausen”.

Ken,
Where did you find all these nice and hard-to-find Mosins? And how much did they cost you? - Inquiring minds want to know.

Well? I have a group of guys that hit all the gun shows, we normally have a table or six. I check all the trader boards and auctions.

It takes all your free time and is allot of fun work.

Some I got real good deals on and others I paid a premium for but wanted it so bad I didn't care, but now that the prices have tripled it doesn't matter.

This is what I am trying to do as well. Do you have your C&R or a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) Application and Live Scan Request?

Just a C&R, most of these I didn't need one.
Gun shows is cash and carry.

I stumbled on one in 2001. It also had the lock ring bayonet with the SA mark.

So by 1913 receiver date you mean a 1913 tang date, is that
a 1943 Tikka M91? Have any more?

Some Finns are sooo old you don't need a C&R :) pre-1898

As is the case with this one, an antique! And actually it is 1898 or older to ba an antique at which point you only need a D. L. to buy on line.

Could you mean the dust caps? I got a bag of them in the mid 90's from a Finn. web site. Most countries had them. Keeps the bugs out. The British used a little tea-bag thing with tie straps. Classic is the M1 condum and simplest is the K-98/G43.

Bahahahaha. Your goading for proof shown here (when I've posted it before on gunboards multiple times), does not overcome the depth of my laziness. ;)

Can you borrow that pic again? :p
