I am in talks with my sister to try to buy 2 colt 1911s, and a ruger 357 blackhawk, and we are having trouble figuring out the value of the guns, so if you guys can post some links (I'm aware of gunbroker), or even just give your opinion on value, that would be much appreciated:

1. ~1975 Colt Mark IV Series 70, 5 1/2", in 90-95% condition. Blued, completely original (afaik).

2. ~1975 Colt Commander, 4 1/2", 85-95% cond., blued, completely original.

3. ~1975 Ruger Blackhawk .357, SS, 7 1/2", 95-98% cond., completely original.

I'd say about $800 for number 1 and $600 for number 2. No idea on the Ruger. I may be a little low, however that's what I'd be willing to pay for them.
Seeing as they are stock, the first thing i would do would get it to a gunsmith for my mods.

$800-$900 on the Colts depending on pics in this market

The Ruger about $350-$400 depending on pics

I'd say $900 + for each of the colts if they are unmodified. I doubt you'd have any trouble selling them for that price, even with the way used gun sales are going. The recent drops in prices tend to only affect the commonplace modern guns.
